First of all, some general information...
What is a boat fender and when is it used?
The boat fenders (or bumpers) are inflatable protection elements that are placed between a ships haull and other obstacles. They protect the boat while docking, maneuvring, mooring or even when stationary.
How to choose the right boat fenders?
You must have a minimum of 3 boat fenders on the each side of the boat and 2 other supplementary fenders, generally larger than the ones placed on the long-side.
The fenders must be placed while the boat its docked and you can count on the extra fenders on high winds and big waves.
Depending on the possibilities, it is handy to have on board different types and shapes of fenders, like cylindrical or flat ones for example.

Leaving behind the ancient vinyl or foam fenders, the inflatable boat fenders are made of an air chamber and idealy a protection cover.
The air chamber, has a standard valve which ensures a quick and easy inflation and deflation of the fender. The inflation can be done with a simple hand or feet actioned pump.
Before the inflatable fenders, users had to make a compromise between the dimension or the number of fenders and the available on board place.
With the inflatable boat fenders and fully foldable, there is no more store issue.
Reliable, resistant, light and surely not bulky , they represent a real breaktrough in the landscape of docking and mooring equipements.
